William the Conqueror was a Norman Duke who later became the King of England by defeating Harold Godwinson at the Battle of Hastings on October 14, 1066. He is the beginning faction leader in the English Campaign.
When William starts off, he has the following ratings:
- 4 Command
- 5 Dread
- 5 Authority
- 6 Piety
He also has the "Conqueoring Hero" trait, giving him extra authority, a higher chance of being assassinated, and the title of "Conqueror". He is automatically married to Matilda and his four children: Rufus, Cecilia, Robert, and Henry. All but Henry are above 20 years of age.
William lead a small army of militia to the castle of Caernarvon, where he defeated the rebel army there and sacked the castle. He then took the village of Dublin.
